"Chinese Zodiac New Year" Series

Chinese Zodiac New Year picture is one of my ongoing projects. Since 2017, the year of the rooster, I create one watercolour zodiac drawing every year. Inspirations of each zodiac animal come from a large amount of researches on allusions, legends, ancient prose, poems, artworks, handicrafts and so on. Every drawing tells its own story. This series has been exhibited in Oxford(UK), Shanghai(China), and Bangkok(Thailand).
